This consulting is a part of the initial phase of understanding the project, which involves a study of the client requirements and identification of the appropriate solution. Based on the initial study and meetings with the stakeholders, ii's consultants outline the project requirements, and make recommendations as to the kind of solution/service that would benefit the client most.

The other advantage the client can have at this stage is a rough estimate of the quantum of work involved for the proposed solution and the associated costs that would be incurred by the client. All consulting given till this stage is free of cost.
